Mazda RX-7

Mazda RX-7

It might be surprising, but the Mazda RX-7 had its debut in 1978 and underwent various modifications before production ceased in 2002. Over its lifespan, the RX-7 gained fame through appearances in popular computer games and movies like "Gran Turismo" and "Need for Speed," making it a coveted but scarce find today.

Mazda introduced the RX-7 as a competitive response to Nissan and Toyota's high-tech models. What distinguished it was its lightweight, streamlined design paired with a compact yet powerful turbocharged 13B-REW rotor engine. Adding to its appeal, the rotary engine's displacement was under 1.5 liters, enhancing fuel efficiency compared to traditional inline engines. The RX-7's excellence is evident in its recognition on Car and Driver magazine's prestigious Ten Best list five times, solidifying its status as one of the most iconic and desirable cars in the Japanese Domestic Market.
